Bleacher Reports, Joe Giglio, joins The Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to talk about the start to the 2013 MLB season. Joe talks about the new way the MLB is using interleague play this season. Joe then goes on to talk about Manny Machado and although he feels for being only 20 years old and playing so well, he’s still third best behind Mike Trout of the Angels and Bryce Harper of the Nationals. Giglio goes on to break down the AL East and tells us that the Orioles are the real deal this season. Orioles lead the AL East in run differential, which is something they never did last year. The Blue Jays made some big splashes this offseason but have struggled mightily, and they’re not the only ones this season to struggle, and Joe tells us about those teams. Joe goes on to talk about who he thinks could be some surprise teams come playoff time. Chris Davis is off to a hot start, and Joe tells us that’s no fluke if you look back to last season and how he ended on such a hot streak.
