Kolbe's Recap

The Caps fell flat once again in a Game 7, losing to the Rangers 5-0 at home. Alex Ovechkin was held without a point for the last 5 games of the series. It was the first time Ovechkin had gone 5 games without a point.

In maybe the game of the postseason the Bruins came back from a 4-1 deficit to beat the Leafs in OT 5-4 to move on to Round 2. The Bruins scored 3 goals in the final 10 and a half minutes to force OT, before eventually winning it.

On Tap for Tonight:

The Penguins and Senators begin the second round series tonight in Pittsburgh. Tomas Vokoun won the last 2 games in the Penguins first round series after stepping in for Marc Andre-Fluery.

The defending champs LA Kings are back on the ice tonight as their second round series with the Sharks starts. Both teams enter this series on 4 game winning streaks.
