2 Pikesville High School Students Face Charges After Fight, Assault On School Resource Officer

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- Two Pikesville High School students have been charged after a fight in the cafeteria led to an assault on a school resource officer.

They were involved in an altercation in the school gym.

The school resource officer, who broke up the fight, was assaulted while taking one of the students into custody.

He was not injured.

Both students are facing charges.

Baltimore County police are investigating the incident.

It is unknown why the students were fighting.
