Baltimore City Sergeant Sentenced For Misconduct In Office
BALTIMORE (WJZ)— A Baltimore City police sergeant has been sentenced for misconduct in office.
Sergeant Dennis Workley was sentenced to one year in prison, all suspended, and three years of supervised probation for his use of false information to secure a search and seizure warrant for a house.
On March 29, Judge John Addison Howard found Workley guilty of perjury and malfeasance for the incident, which took place on December 2011.
Workley was granted probation before judgment on the perjury conviction.
