Baltimore Declares This Week 'Museum Week' In City
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has declared this week Museum Week in the city.
Baltimore is hosting the national convention of the American Alliance of Museums. So many of the city's cultural institutions are offering free access or discounts through May 24.
The special offers include buy one, get one free admissions, free walking tours, free outdoor events and behind-the-scenes educational programs.
The museum convention is drawing about 5,000 museum professionals to Baltimore.
