Steve asked Rick what makes Gausman ready for a MLB debut. Rick said it's that Kevin repeats his delivery and commands the bottom of the strike zone, and that his slider has improved drastically. Rick said that he is not worried about Gausman coming up so soon because he is ready.

Bob asked Rick how much Gausman's coaching at LSU played a part in Gausman being ready. Rick said it definitely played a part but it's more about Gausman's willingness to make adjustments in his game and willingness to improve.

Steve asked Rick are there any concerns for Gausman. Rick said his only risk is lack of experience and the only way he can improve that is by getting experience. Rick also said he has absolutely no worries about Gausman's game.

Rick said that so far Gausman's numbers in the minors are amazing, and his command is remarkable. And Rick also said that Gausman's command low in the strike zone is what makes him such an effective pitcher.

Steve than asked Rick about Dylan Bundy and injury concerns. Rick said the Orioles have to take a wait and see approach on the Bundy injury and recovery time.
