Stevenson Lacrosse Head Coach Paul Cantabene Previews His Teams Championship Game

Stevenson head coach Paul Cantabene joined the show to discuss his squads National Championship match up against RIT this coming weekend.

Steve started out by asking the head coach about the monumental day coming up. Paul said that no team in school history has ever made a national championship game. So it is a big victory for the athletics department as a whole. Everyone at the University is pumped up for the game.

Bob remarked on the uphill battle of trying to make it to the 'Ship. Paul said its been a long time coming and that it is a complete relief to be in the position that they are in.

Steve asked about the Harbaugh interview the other day. The coach said that they reached out to him and that he was extremely nice and all the players really appreciated his message and that it meant a lot to the program. Harbaugh's message was to control only what you can and to understand your roll on the team. Paul said he did a great job of preparing the kids on what to expect when the stakes are the highest.
