We have a gorgeous Memorial Day on tap! Temps will be returning to “normal” by the afternoon with highs in the mid and upper 70s. We’ll have plenty of sun with a few high cirrus clouds moving across the daytime sky. Winds won’t be an issue Memorial Day for those looking to spend the afternoon out on the bay.
Clouds will march in overnight ahead of a “game-changing” weather system, and a sprinkle is not out of the questions after midnight. Otherwise, a warm front will move through the region Tuesday and Tuesday night bringing us the change of showers and afternoon/evening thunderstorms.
Wednesday through Sunday, high pressure over Bermuda will build into the Atlantic Seaboard acting as a “heat pump” for the region, initiating a VERY warm and humid mid-summer-like weather pattern with highs climbing into the 90s.
Meteorological Summer is just around the corner (June-August), and it will certainly feel like it by the end of the work-week!
