Up To $10K Reward Offered In Arson Fire
RIVERDALE, Md. (AP) -- A volunteer fire company is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the people who set a blaze that left seven firefighters injured.
The Bladensburg Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad announced the reward Tuesday for information about a house fire on Feb. 24, 2012 in Riverdale. The firefighters were hurt when a burst of fresh air from the rear of the house created a fireball inside. Two suffered critical injuries.
Crime Solvers has offered a $1,000 reward and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has posted a $5,000 reward for information about the fire.
