Man Killed, Another Hurt In Silver Spring Crash

SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — Montgomery County Police are investigation a single-vehicle crash that left the driver dead and his passenger seriously injured.

It happened about 2:45 a.m. Thursday, officers say a car traveling east on University Boulevard West lost control on a curve.

The vehicle left the road, hit a tree and a brick wall, and came to rest in a parking lot.

Police say 26-year-old Aaron Jerel Williams of Hyattsville died at a local hospital after the crash. Thirty-one-year-old Jose Adolfo Alvarado Castillo of Adelphi was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
