Nathan Rode of Baseball America joins The Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to discuss this years MLB Player Daft. Nathan tells us who the “big three” are to watch in this draft and will go in some order of one, two, three. With so many players entering the draft for baseball, Nathan says it’s incredibly difficult to predict who goes where, so as far as the Orioles go, nobody is really sure who they might pick. But he does go on to say that there are a lot of positions they could pick whether it’s catcher, outfielder, or even some pitchers. Rode talks about how in the MLB it’s much easier to draft off best player available as opposed to drafting off need like you;d see in the NFL Draft. With the Orioles now having a lot of their drafting prospects coming to the big leagues recently, Nathan tells the guys that the outlook for the Orioles in the future looks very bright with players like Dylan Bundy, Kevin Gausman, and Manny Machado, coming up and playing with the big league club.
