New Project Begins At Mall In Columbia

COLUMBIA, Md. (WJZ) -- Demolition begins at the Mall in Columbia Monday.

Crews are taking down a portion of the old building, to make way for a new 70,000 square foot restoration.

The project will redevelop a lot of the space around the mall and add more square footage.

New stores and restaurants are expected to move in as part of the downtown Columbia restoration project.
