Driver Injured When Tanker Carrying Diesel Fuel Overturns, Ruptures

PHOENIX, Md. (WJZ)–A Carroll Fuel tanker overturned and ruptured in the 3800-block of Blenheim Road on Thursday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 1:12 p.m.

The tanker was carrying 1500 gallons of diesel fuel.

Hazmat teams are on location trying to contain the leak.

The driver of the tanker has been taken to a local hospital.
