Host of the Morning Drive on the Golf Channel, Gary Williams, joined the Glenn Younes show to talk about the US Open.
He talked about Phil Mickelson’s performance today at Marion and how he is playing so well. “He likes the idea that people are betting against him.”
Gary also talked about Tiger Woods’ struggles on the first day of the US Open and how a minor wrist injury is affecting his play. “I have no earthly idea but I just know there is some discomfort there but I don’t know what it is.”
After that, Glenn and Gary spoke about how far the driving range is from the course. “After they take their last warm up shot they have to get in a van and they have to be shuttled legitimately 15 minutes.”
After that Glenn asked Gary to give his opinion about Lebron James and the NBA Finals. When he was talking about Lebron only scoring 4 points in the first half he said, “The reality is if you want to be on Mount Rushmore, I’m sorry you are nowhere near Mount Rushmore if that is what you provide.”
