WEATHER BLOG: Humid Night

We will feel more humid tonight than recent nights and the humidity will be present tomorrow as well. Forcing for any shower/t-storm activity will be limited tomorrow, but heights will be low so an isolated shower or t-storm can develop.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms will go up on Tuesday, but the feature that will affect our region will come in two pieces and this could limit our chances as well. Low pressure associated with a strong upper-level disturbance will pass by to the south, so widespread t-storm activity will likely stay across southern VA into NC.

Then to our north, we will have a cold-front approaching. It could be so far north that very little happens. We will be able to fine-tune the forecast as we get closer. High pressure is expected to build in on Wednesday, bringing drier air back into the forecast.
