Frederick County Bureau Of Investigation Searching For Missing Woman

FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- The Frederick County Bureau of Investigation is searching for a missing woman.

Officials say Teresa Lentz's daughter reported her missing Wednesday evening around 9:47 p.m. She said that she had found her mother's vehicle unoccupied on the shoulder of Reels Mill Road around the railroad tracks.

Officials say Lentz's husband and two children last saw her around noon Wednesday and she last spoke to her husband around 1:30. They say her family became worried later that afternoon when she didn't answer her phone or reply to text messages. Her daughter began looking for her around 6:30 and found the car three hours later. Lentz's phone and keys were found inside the car.

Deputies assisted by the Maryland State Police immediately began investigating and searching the area. Sheriff's Office and Maryland State Police K9s were utilized in the search along with the Maryland State Police's Search Management Team and Aviation. The search continued throughout the night, but Lentz has not yet been located.
