Man Instantly Paralyzed In East Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police need help finding two suspects behind a near fatal shooting in east Baltimore.

The suspects were both armed when they robbed a man walking through the 2000 block of East Chase Street.

The 49-year-old tried to run, and that's when the suspects opened fire, shooting him in the back.

Police say Gary Johnson was instantly paralyzed.

The suspects fled in a dark blue four door vehicle.

They're described as two black males in their late 30s or early 40s.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Eastern District Detectives at 410-396-2433.
