Lt. Gov. Brown To Receive Municipal Endorsements In Run For Governor

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown is scheduled to receive endorsements from Maryland municipal leaders in his run for governor.

The lieutenant governor has scheduled an event Tuesday afternoon in Ocean City, where the Maryland Municipal League is holding its annual convention.

Brown has been working to be fast out of the starting gate in the race for the Democratic nomination.

He also has already named Howard County Executive Ken Ulman as his running mate.

The Maryland Democratic primary is scheduled for next June. The election is in November 2014.
