Mark Zinno: What's Matt Wieters Free Agent Value?

Rob Neyer joins Zinno
Rob Neyer of SB Nation joined Zinno to talk the latest baseball news and the Orioles 2013 season. The guys started out by talking about the AL East and that all five teams are at .500 or better. Zinno credited the managers in the division for being the reason why they are all playing so well.
The Alex Rodridguez news was up next as Yankees GM Brian Cashman lashed out at the all-star 3B for his tweet that he is ready for a rehab stint. Neyer said that both sides need each other and they are both stuck in the contract they signed him to. Neyer segued into free agency and market value. Zinno brought up the often-criticized Matt Wieters and how much he would command on the market if he were to hit free agency. Rob Neyer said that Wieters would get at least $10 million annually.
Neyer also asserted that the Orioles should lock-up 3B Manny Machado now and sign him through his 20s and hope he stays healthy.
