We are definitely still on target for a very active period coming up over the next 24-48 hours. Main severe weather threats will include damaging winds and hail with the potential for flooding downpours. More than likely, any downpours that do occur will lead to flooding of poor drainage areas and ponding of water on street and highways. We are in the slight risk category for severe weather tomorrow, as issued by the Storm Prediction Center. The amount of heating we get tomorrow will be a critical factor in determining how bad things get. There is no time period during the next week or more that we can guarantee dry weather.
