MONKTON, Md. (WJZ) — A traffic accident killed a postal employee Saturday in Monkton.

The man has been identified as 62-year-old Bruce Robert Deutser.

Police say he was about to make a left turn on the 17400-block of Bushland Road when another driver clipped his vehicle. The impact caused the mail truck to roll over and eject Deutser, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to officers, 53-year-old Dale Chesser of Delaware was driving the truck.

Chesser remained at the scene.

There is no word concerning charges in this case.
