WEATHER BLOG: Flash Flood Watch

A frontal boundary is draped along the Atlantic Seaboard allowing showers and t-storms to travel along it.

Southerly flow continues to rush in an atmospheric river of tropical moisture from the Gulf with dew points in the 70s. This moist air mass will remain in place over the mid-Atlantic for the next several days.

We will be seasonably warm this week and humid with plenty of showers and thunderstorms around through Tuesday. Some thunderstorms may be accompanied by "Florida-style" downpours, prompting flash-flood warnings.

Much of central/southern Maryland, as well as the Eastern Shore remain under a flash-flood watch through Monday night into early Tuesday morning. #mdwx
