Fatal Accident: Tractor Trailer Overturns On I-95 South

BELCAMP, Md. (WJZ)—All lanes are back open on I-95 in Harford County after a fatal accident shut down the highway Monday morning.

The truck overturned on the southbound lanes near Maryland Route 543 just before 8 a.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Sterling box truck, driven by 21-year-old Terrell Allbrook, of Baltimore, was traveling southbound Interstate 95 in the area of Exit 80 when the he lost control for unknown reasons.

Allbrook was traveling with a female passenger identified as 25-year-old Shawna Beckett, of Baltimore.

Beckett was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma by state police aviation for treatment of her injuries.

Allbrook was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

Multiple lanes of Interstate 95 northbound and southbound were closed for approximately two hours while troopers from the Maryland State Police investigated the collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
