Pittsburgh Pirates Hold The Best Record In Baseball

Jim Colony from THE FAN in Pittsburgh joined The Scott Garceau Show Monday on 105-7 THE FAN afternoon to talk about the hottest team in the MLB.

YOUR TITLE HERE

The Pirates are quietly making themselves the best team in baseball. Similar to Baltimore the city of Pittsburgh has endured years upon years with a losing baseball team. The city is also weary of the recent success of the Pirates. Like Baltimore last year, Pirates fans are holding their breath and hoping the team does not collapse and fall apart.

The Pirates have won nine games straight and have compiled an overall record of 51-30. The bullpen of the Pirates has been lights out allowing them to come back in numerous games. Similar to the Orioles last year they have been playing many extra innings games including a fourteen inning game this past week.

The success of the Pirates has created a nice distraction for Steelers fan in Pittsburgh as there are many concerns with the team as they head towards training camp. After a rough season last year for the Steelers fans are not certain if they can return to the norm of winning season after winning season. There are many questions revolving around the health of Ben Roethlisberger and the offensive line. Training camp will be instrumental for the Steelers success this fall.
