Baltimore Celebrates Fourth Of July With Music, Fireworks

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore is celebrating the Fourth of July with music and fireworks.

Starting Thursday at 4 p.m., Baltimore's Inner Harbor will play host to a reggae band, followed by the U.S. Naval Academy Band Electric Brigade. The musicians will play at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater at Pratt and Light streets.

At 9:30 p.m. Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will kick off a fireworks display. The approximately 18-minute display will be launched from two barges docked in the harbor.

The display should be visible from Federal Hill, Fell's Point and Harbor East.
