Ogden, who was an eleven time Pro-Bowler and six time All-Pro will be inducted in to the Pro-Football Hall of Fame on August fourth. Joining Ogden will be Larry Allen, Cris Carter, Curley Culp, Bill Parcells, Dave Robinson, and Warren Sapp. JO, as he is known throughout Baltimore, has gone down as one of the greatest left tackles off all time. He blocked for Jamal Lewis as he run for over 2,000 yards in one season, earned nine all AFC Honors, and was selected to the 2000's all decade team.

JO gave insight to what it felt like hearing his name come out on his first ballot. He said that he was reluctant to be in the greenroom for when they announced it because he was not sure if he would truly get it his first time around. Then when he saw Cris Carter and Warren Sapp get emotional when they heard their names announced he admitted he too, he almost got teary eyed but he was able to hold it together.

Ogden won Superbowl 35 with the Baltimore Ravens and helped Jamal Lewis rush for 102 yards and a touchdown in the game. He also passed blocked for the Ravens first ever touchdown in a Superbowl as Trent Dilfer connected with Brandon Stokley on a 38 yard touchdown pass. Even though he already had one Superbowl ring from his own win he was also given another this summer from Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti. JO had nothing but great things to say about the Ravens owner, "That's just the way Steve Bisciotti is and hes the type of guy who is a class gentlemen and in his mind those guys that were on that team[Superbowl 35 Ring of Honor Members] contributed to the legacy that is the Baltimore Ravens...I was very appreciative of it." Ogden loves the fact that they still consider him part of the Ravens family.
