Man Wanted For Wicomico County’s 1st Shooting Death Of 2013

DELMAR, Md. (AP) — Wicomico County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a suspect in a fatal shooting in Delmar.

Sheriff Mike Lewis says 29-year old Eddie Savage Jr. is wanted in the shooting death of 48-year-old Kenneth Sparks of Hurlock. Lewis says the men argued Sunday night before the shooting in a driveway on Foskey Lane.

Officials say Sparks, who was shot in the face, was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, but was pronounced dead.

Deputies say Savage walks with a limp and was last seen wearing a red tank top and gym shorts. Officials say Savage is believed to be armed and dangerous and they are asking area residents to stay indoors and keep their doors locked.

This is the only slaying this year in Wicomico County.
