49ers QB Colin Kaepernick choosing to wear a Dolphins hat still has people in an uproar and while Zinno thinks that the young quarterback made a bad choice, Kostos didn’t see the big deal. “It’s much ado about nothing,” said Kostos.

The conversation turned to Aaron Hernandez, who is still in jail awaiting the legal process to play out. The blame for his alleged crimes is being passed around from the Patriots to his college coach Urban Meyer. Kostos said that you can’t lay this at the feet of his college coach. No one could have seen this coming down the road said Kostos.

Finally, the fellas discussed the extension of Lions QB Matt Stafford, who in first four seasons has won just 17 games. Kostos said that Stafford deserves the money. He’s a guy who threw the ball over 700 times last year and has very little help around him. The Lions have no chance to do anything without Stafford, so you have to pay him.
