During their trip down to Bowie, Baysox Head Coach Gary Kendall joined The Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to discuss the Baysox and Orioles.

Listen here:

Kendall and the guys talk about the Oriole players that Kendall has had the chance to coach on their way up towards the big squad. Kendall talks about Wei-Yen Chen’s rehab start in Bowie against Bryce Harper and how much Chen’s being in Bowie helped the younger players. He also gives his thoughts on Chen as a pitcher.

Henry Urrutia, who has recently left Bowie to head to Norfolk,  is a big topic of discussion between the guys and Coach Kendall. The coach shares his opinions on Urrutia and how he has grown as a player.

Jeremy asks the coach about the difficulties of coaching Double-A baseball with players coming and going. Finally the guys talk about Baysox catcher, Caleb Joseph, an emerging star who has recently won the Eastern League Home Run Derby.
