WEATHER BLOG: Things Are Heating Up

An upper-level low currently over the Ohio Valley will retrograde westward into the Plains and eventually Southwest. This will allow a ridge of high pressure to build in from the northeast bringing us a summertime feel beginning on Sunday and continuing right through the bulk of next week.

We are already feeling the humidity and even some warming today, but as the ridge builds in and makes itself at home temps will continue to trend warmer each of the next couple of days, maxing out Tuesday through Thursday with what will likely be our hottest stretch of the summer thus far. #mdwx
