Heat and humidity will be what everyone talk about this week.
High pressure situated near the Delmarva Peninsula this afternoon will continue to pump heat and humidity into the eastern U.S. as it migrates westward over the course of the upcoming work-week. You can expect high temps well into the 90s and dewpoints in the upper 60s to as high as the mid-70s each afternoon.
Heat indices will rise into the triple digits Monday through Friday and could reach up to 110 during the time of peak heating. Even at night dewpoints will remain high with lows in the 70s, so there will not be much relief to look forward to once the sun sets.
For those that must spend time outdoors this week, take frequent breaks to cool off and stay hydrated! #mdwx
