Ocean City Man Arrested In Connection With Illegal Gun Sale
SALISBURY, Md. (WJZ) -- The Maryland State Police arrested a 45-year-old Ocean City man Monday in connection with an illegal sale of an assault rifle in Salisbury.
David L. Catrino was charged on an arrest warrant with unlawful sale/transfer of a regulated firearm and four counts of assault weapons violations.
Police took Catrino to the Wicomico Detention Center where he was held on $50,000 bond.
Investigators from the Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force and the Worcester County Criminal Enforcement Team received information about an illegal sale of an AK-47 assault rifle in late June.
Investigators identified Catrino as the person trying to sell the gun and were able to obtain an arrest warrant.
