Man Charged After Siren, Badge Found In Car
CHEVERLY, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police have arrested a man after a police badge and other law enforcement items were found in an SUV in Cheverly.
Officers say the SUV had flashing high beams and a blaring siren. When the officer stopped the vehicle on Tuesday, police say the driver was cutting the wires to the siren box.
Police say a search of the vehicle turned up police badge, a portable radio, several police LED lights, strobe kits, emergency light switches and mounting brackets.
Thirty-two-year-old Romin Milton of Landover has been charged with unlawful use of flashing lights and a siren and other traffic offenses.
