Police ID Man Found Dead Alongside Frederick Road

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Police have identified a man found dead alongside a roadway in Frederick earlier this week.

Police identified the man Saturday as 60-year-old Richard Pilvin of Frederick. Pilvin was found dead Thursday morning alongside Butterfly Lane by a utility worker. Detectives believe Pilvin was walking alongside the roadway and collapsed where he was found.

Detectives do not believe foul play is involved, and the death does not appear suspicious.
