2 Seriously Hurt After Car Crashes Into Md. Store
GAITHERSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Two men have been seriously injured after a car crashed into a Sam's Club discount store in Gaithersburg.
Montgomery County Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham says a 33-year-old man and a 70-year-old man have been taken to trauma centers with life-threatening injuries. He says the driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
A police spokeswoman says the car plowed into the store just before 1 p.m. Tuesday at a Sam's Club in the 700 block of N. Frederick Avenue.
Witnesses say the driver struck a woman outside the store and then continued on into the building.
Police are investigating, and no other information was immediately available.
