Md. Woman Charged With Stabbing Sister In Dispute Over Car

HANOVER, Md. (WJZ)— Anne Arundel County Police have arrested a Hanover woman, who they say stabbed her younger sister during a dispute over a car.

It happened around 11 p.m. Monday in the 7100-block of Somerton Court in Hanover.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 22-year-old female victim, who reported that she was arguing with her sister over the shared use of a vehicle.

The argument escalated and her sister, 23-year-old Veronica Christina Victoriano, armed herself with a knife and stabbed the victim.

Police say Victoriano fled the residence and was located on Arundel Mills Boulevard by responding officers and subsequently arrested.

The victim suffered a non-life threatening stab wound to her lower extremity and was transported by ambulance to Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Victoriano is charged with first and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
