Amid all the baseball talk, the NFL was making headlines for suspensions as well with Von Miller of the Broncos facing a 4-game ban. Ryan Wilson of CBSSports.com, Eye on Football, joined Zinno to discuss that and more. Wilson spoke of a rough off-season for the Broncos over all. He cited that they lost Elvis Dumervil, had two of their front office people get DWIs and now the Miller suspension.  The Broncos open the season against the Ravens on September 5th.

The NFL is also starting to test for HGH this summer. They are doing a population survey to find out how many players may be using performance-enhancing drugs. "It is a step in the right direction," said Wilson. The problem with the population survey is that the players don't want it compared to the regular population as opposed to other football players. Bottom line is that testing a good thing. It will keep the playing field level.

Finally, on the field, the Ravens will start training camp this week and wide receiver Jacoby Jones ended up on the non-football injury list because he failed his conditioning test. It was the ultimate irony because Jones claimed he was in such great shape after his appearance on Dancing With the Stars. Both Zinno and Wilson agreed that head coach John Harbaugh probably was a little miffed to say the least!
