Md. Man Found In Creek Died Doing What He Loved
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- The father of a 25-year-old man found dead in a western Maryland creek says he believes his son slipped on a rock and drowned.
Corey Adam Clopein of Hagerstown was found in a shin-deep section of Conococheague Creek on Thursday. He had been fishing for bass.
The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown reports that Clopein's father, James Clopein, says his son died doing what he loved.
The Washington County sheriff's office, which is investigating, does not suspect foul play.
