A very slow moving cold front in the Ohio R. Valley is pushing showers and t-storms into our region. It has already made for a pretty soggy evening here in Charm City.
We will continue to see chances for rainfall into the overnight, with periods of isolated heavy rainfall. This front will continue to approach the region tomorrow. Another batch of moisture will pool together and approach from the south yet again and will travel just ahead of the front and bring more rain to the area.
The front itself will pass through the region late Sunday night and Monday morning. A very dry air-mass for this time of year will move in behind the front, associated with a Canadian area of high pressure. This will bring a very comfortable change of pace as compared to the heat and humidity that we had in our neck during the beginning of July.
This stretch of pleasant weather will carry us through mid-week. #mdwx
