Ed Dickson Sits Down With Glenn Younes

Baltimore Ravens tight end Ed Dickson joined the "Glenn Younes Show" on Tuesday to give his personal thoughts and feelings on training camp and how the Ravens will adjust to the loss of Dennis Pitta and even the trickle down from the Anquan Boldin trade. When talking about getting the season going, and how the team molds together during the hot summer months, Ed kept it simple. "It's been long, we get our work in everyone knows the Raven way, what they see on Sunday doesn't just happen on Sunday".

Glenn went on to ask Ed Dickson what it's like going into camp with Jim Caldwell as the offensive coordinator. Ed let it be known that it was going to be different, but there will be a positive effect on the team and even Joe Flacco. "He gets his hands on Joe Flacco and makes an MVP, Super Bowl winning quarterback that much better, you can't change that much but you can always get better."

The injury to Dennis Pitta threw the Ravens for a loop, and it even led to two free agent signings with the additions of Visanthe Shiancoe coupled with the return of All-Pro fullback Vonta Leach. Ed let it be known that he will miss Pitta with the team, but he cannot sit and reflect on the loss, and has no choice but to get better. "Just thinking about it gives me goose bumps; I can be one of those guys that can produce."

And finally Glenn wrapped it up with the personal effects of the loss of Dennis Pitta. "It really hurt me for the first 24 hours then I had to suck it up and get back out there."
