Hit & Run With Toddler: Baltimore Man Charged With Striking 3 Vehicles & Pedestrian

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—An arrest is made after a driver left a path of destruction in downtown Baltimore on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash began at the intersection of Pratt and Light streets and involved multiple vehicles and pedestrians.

City police say Justin Buchanan, 27, has been charged with multiple traffic violations.

Sky Eye Chopper 13 was over the scene, where Buchanan's black Acura struck a pole.

A few minutes earlier, police say he hit two cars, a shuttle bus and a pedestrian.

When the car became disabled after hitting the pole, Buchanan grabbed a toddler from the back seat and tried to run. But police quickly caught him.

Several people were injured, but all the injuries are considered minor.
