Md. Rep. Van Hollen Speaks At Town Hall On Climate Change
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Maryland Rep. Chris Van Hollen is scheduled to talk about challenges and opportunities on legislation to address climate change in Congress.
It's set for Thursday evening at an Organizing for America town hall in Silver Spring.
Van Hollen, D-Md., is co-chair of the bipartisan House Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Caucus.
The event is being co-sponsored by 17 local organizations. They include Chesapeake Climate Action Network, League of Conservations Voters, Sierra Club, Bethesda Green, Silver Spring Green, Integration and Application Network, UMD Center for Environmental Science and the Maryland Energy Administration.
