JOPPA, Md. (WJZ) —  The search is on in Harford County for the person who stole thousands of dollars worth of gas from a school bus parking lot.

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office says 2,400 gallons of diesel fuel worth $7,000 was stolen from the lot along Pulaski Highway in Joppa.

The person or persons broke the chain lock, siphoned off the gas and drove away in a truck.
