WEATHER BLOG: Cool Sunday

Sunday will be a different day than Saturday as a cold front has pushed through the region. Cool Canadian high pressure will build across the Great Lakes Sunday, then toward the mid-Atlantic States Monday. Saturday dew points were in the lower 60s while Sunday drier air will work its way in with dew points into the middle 50s. This means a refreshing summer day for us with low humidity and a breeze.

Sunday will start out sunny with fair weather cumulus clouds forming in the afternoon. There will be some morning fog that will burn off early. We probably lack moisture and also flow will be downsloping. Sunday night will be cool with high pressure dominating the region with the city getting into the low 60s and the northwest suburbs dropping into the mid 50s.
