Baltimore Co. Police Search For Man Who Assaulted Jogger

WOODSTOCK, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County Police are looking for a man who pulled a jogger into the woods in Woodstock and tried to strangle her.

It happened on  July 30 around 5:30 p.m.

A 25-year-old woman was jogging in the area of Siena Way when police say a suspect pulled the victim into a wooded area, and attempted to strangle her with an item of clothing. The victim bit the suspect on the arm, and was able to escape. The suspect was last seen running through the woods.

The victim had no serious injuries.

The suspect is a black male, 16 to 20 years old, 5'6" tall, with an average build. He was wearing all dark clothing and may have a bite mark on his right arm. A Baltimore County Police forensic artist created the sketch above to help in identifying the suspect.
