Prince George's Inmates To Get High School Diplomas
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Seventeen inmates in Prince George's County are receiving their high school diplomas.
County Executive Rushern Baker III is scheduled to address the inmates, who'll be presented with diplomas Thursday morning in a housing unit of the Upper Marlboro jail.
To graduate, inmates must participate in an 8-week program to prepare for a test administered by the Department of Corrections. The graduating inmates completed the tests in March and May.
