Man Run Over By Car After Argument Over Cell Phone

LAUREL, Md. (AP) -- Howard County police say one man ran over another man with his car after the two argued over the return of a cell phone in Laurel.

Officers say Travon Millar, 21, of Laurel agreed to meet the victim in the parking lot of PW's Sports Bar & Grille about 9 a.m. Friday. Police say Millar had the other man's cell phone and agreed to return it for money.

Authorities say the two got into an argument, Millar got into his car and drove it toward the victim.

Police say the vehicle ran over the victim and sped out of the parking lot.

Millar was arrested in Laurel. He is charged with attempted murder and other offenses.

Police say the victim was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore and is in stable condition.
