Cleveland Browns analyst and beatwriter Mary Kay Cabot joined the Vinny and Rob Show. Cabot spoke about the Browns’ quarterback competition, their special teams struggles, and their expectations for this upcoming season.

The Browns have the QB but a Quarterback is only as good as his receivers can make him. The targets have to be there, they have to be open and they have to catch the ball. Mary Kay is hoping that some of these guys in their second year can really step it up.

The new Defensive scheme is to rush the passer and Mary Kay says they’re seeing it every day in practice. If they can get to the QB consistently, this scheme could really help out the secondary.

They talk more about what the Browns are doing to improve upon some of the steps they made last year. The Browns may not be as much of a push over as Ravens fans would probably like.
