WEATHER BLOG: Hello, Fall!

While the Autumnal Equinox is over a month away, you would think that the fall season arrived Tuesday night! High pressure from Canada ushered unseasonably cool and dry air into our neighborhood behind the cold front that passed through Tuesday.

The unofficial low for Wednesday rang in at a crisp 60 degrees at BWI around 7 a.m. and temps are forecast to get even lower at night! Some spots in western Maryland could even see record-breaking low temps overnight. We probably won't break any record low temps near the metro, but it will still feel like a comfortable autumn night, and so will the next couple of nights.

Lows Wednesday night will dip into the mid 50s, so a light jacket is a great idea if you plan to be out!
