Weekend Work To Affect Blue And Orange Line Riders

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metro riders using the orange and blue lines will wait longer than normal for trains this weekend because of work.

Metro says beginning Friday at 10 p.m. and continuing through Sunday, trains on the orange and blue lines will run every 24 minutes. Normal service is every 12 to 20 minutes.

Metro says it will not be doing any track work this weekend on the red, yellow or green lines.
